{"id":5663,"date":"2016-05-13T14:43:21","date_gmt":"2016-05-13T18:43:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/40.87.96.138\/beerbar\/?p=5663"},"modified":"2016-05-13T14:43:21","modified_gmt":"2016-05-13T18:43:21","slug":"hisshonians-team-build-through-racing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.hisshosushibeer.bar\/my\/2016\/05\/13\/hisshonians-team-build-through-racing\/","title":{"rendered":"Hisshonians Team Build Through Racing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hissho Sushi is involved in so much more than just making sushi and Pan-Asian hot bar foods.\u00a0 For those who follow this blog, you know that we volunteer a lot, give a lot and know how to team build through fun activities.\u00a0 One of the activities is to participate in Dragon Boat Racing.\u00a0 This is the fastest growing water sport around the world.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n\u201cDragon Boat Racing has ancient Chinese origins and its history has been traced back more than 2000 years. The first participants were superstitious Chinese villagers who celebrated the 5th day of the 5th lunar month of the Chinese calendar. Racing was held to avert misfortune and encourage the rains needed for prosperity \u2013 and the object of their worship was the dragon, the dragon of Asia has traditionally been a symbol of water.
